Privacy and cookies on this website
This page is about synapsespark.org, the Foundation's public website. Each Synapse Spark product describes its own handling of health information when you sign in to it.
Google Analytics — only if you accept
If you accept in the banner, we use Google Analytics, a service of Google, to count visits and see which pages help people. It sets cookies that start with _ga and sends Google the page you viewed, your browser and device type, and an approximate location based on your connection. If you decline or never answer, Google Analytics does not load and no Google cookie is set.
Your choice is stored in your own browser for 12 months. You can change it at any time with , which also appears at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing removes the Google Analytics cookies this site set.
The site's own counts — no cookie, no identifier
When you choose one of the four doors on the home page, or a row on a "What's here for you" page, the site records which one, and the page language, on the Foundation's own server. Nothing that identifies you is kept: no cookie, no account, no IP address, no device identifier.
Messages and applications you send us
The contact form and programme applications send what you type, including your name and email address, to the Foundation so we can reply. They are not used for anything else.
