A just-in-time adaptive intervention (JITAI) is a coaching layer that decides when to speak up. The idea has been around for a decade, but it lives or dies on context. A nudge during a walking break helps. The same nudge in a meeting just makes someone hate their phone. Context comes from biosignals: heart-rate variability, sleep debt, activity, calendar, location.
Lull uses those biosignals to time interventions carefully. It ships with rejection-sensitivity safeguards built in — nudge frequency ceilings and an explicit quiet mode. The system learns what each user accepts and refuses, and tunes itself accordingly. Coaching that gets quieter when it needs to is coaching that people keep.
