Stride

Motor screening, from a phone.

Roughly half of children diagnosed with ADHD also have a coexisting motor coordination difficulty (DCD) that routinely goes unscreened. Stride turns a smartphone camera into a movement-screening instrument — guided filming, on-device pose estimation, no wearable, no clinic equipment.

StrideDiagnostics · Motor screening

The camera you already have is the instrument.

Standardized DCD questionnaires exist, but the gold-standard motor batteries need trained observers and clinic time nobody schedules at an ADHD intake. The result: a coexisting motor difficulty that would change a child's OT referral just gets missed.

Stride's capture module runs BlazePose landmark estimation directly in the browser — nothing is uploaded until QC has already checked frame rate, task duration, and landmark visibility, with an instant warm-retry prompt if a task didn't record cleanly. A parent films four short guided tasks at home; a clinician reviews QC'd landmark data and a validated caregiver questionnaire, side by side.

Features

Built for the intake visit, not a gait lab.

01

On-device pose estimation

Real BlazePose landmark tracking, running in the browser via WebAssembly — no video ever needs to leave the device by default.

02

Guided capture flow

Live framing feedback, a 3-2-1 countdown, and instant QC with a warm-retry prompt the moment a task didn't record cleanly.

03

Deterministic QC

Frame rate, task-duration bounds, and per-task landmark visibility coverage — checked synchronously, not after the family has gone home.

04

Single-use invite links

A study coordinator opens the screen; the family gets a one-shot link scoped to their child, never a shared password.

Open Stride

One screen, two roles.

Coordinators enroll families and issue the screen link from a staff account. Families never create an account — their link is single-use and scoped to one child.

Side A

For clinics & study staff

Enroll a child, open a screen order, and issue the parent's capture link from one console.

Side B

For families

Consent, four guided capture tasks with live framing feedback, and a caregiver questionnaire — via a single-use link from your clinic.

Just launched — deployed to production as a capture-module prototype for an upcoming validation study; no live screens yet. The caregiver questionnaire currently ships with placeholder item text pending a licensing decision on the real instrument.
