Aubade

DLMO-guided chronotherapy for ADHD sleep.

Light scheduling, melatonin timing, and wearable sleep tracking — informed by dim-light melatonin onset (DLMO). Stepped-care escalation when self-management isn't enough.

The evening comes first. So does the sleep problem.

ADHD sleep problems are usually not insomnia — they're circadian. Patients are phase-delayed: the biological signal to sleep doesn't arrive until well past a normal bedtime, and no amount of sleep hygiene fixes what is really a clock problem. Most patients don't know this, and most primary-care advice targets the wrong thing.

Aubade starts from dim-light melatonin onset (DLMO) — the biological signal for when the evening actually begins — and builds light-scheduling and melatonin-timing protocols around it, validated against wearable sleep data.

When self-management isn't enough, a stepped-care path routes patients into Aubade Clinic — the same venture's dedicated telehealth clinic for sleep and circadian care, with the patient's history already in hand.

Features

Chronotherapy that starts from the right anchor.

01

DLMO-guided protocols

Light schedules and melatonin timing anchored to each patient's dim-light melatonin onset — not their bedtime.

02

Wearable sleep integration

Sleep architecture from Oura and Fitbit — validates whether the protocol is working. Apple Health support is planned, not yet live.

03

Stepped care

Self-help first, clinician review when the numbers don't move, prescription when it's warranted — the escalation is built in.

04

Adults only, by design

Aubade is built and safety-screened for adults 18 and up. Under-18 sign-ups are routed to clinician review instead of an automated protocol.

Two doors — self-help and clinic.

Aubade is a stepped-care system. Patients start with the self-help side; sleep clinics receive escalations through a companion workspace.

Side A

For individuals

Light plan, melatonin timing schedule, wearable sleep log, and progress tracking. Escalate to clinical care if self-help isn't enough.

Side B

For sleep clinics

Patient list, escalation workflow, and prescription review. Pick up the patients who need clinical care, with their history already in hand.
